Staff will escort the weekend program to visit Palisades Center Mall for a community-based outing focused on recreation, social interaction, and independence. Individuals will have opportunities to explore stores, practice money management and decision-making skills, and engage with community members.

The program will welcome the fall season with a festive Autumn Brunch featuring a variety of seasonal foods and refreshments. The celebration will include engaging recreational activities such as computer games, video games, card games, Bingo, and fall-themed arts and crafts. This event provides opportunities for socialization, creativity, and community building while enjoying the changing season.

Staff will assist individuals with preparing a variety of delicious fall-inspired treats and snacks. This interactive activity promotes independence, teamwork, decision-making, and confidence while encouraging participants to explore new foods and seasonal flavors. Participants will also enjoy tasting their creations and socializing with peers in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.

The groups will enjoy a fun-filled trip to Sportstime USA where they can play arcade games, participate in recreational activities, and socialize with peers. This community outing promotes enjoyment, friendly competition, confidence building, and positive social experiences in an inclusive environment.

Staff will escort the service recipients to The Paley Center for a day of learning, creativity, and exploration. Individuals will have the opportunity to engage with interactive exhibits and media experiences while expanding their knowledge and participating in a unique outing.

The program will welcome the fall season with a Harvest Festival featuring autumn-themed crafts, games, seasonal treats, and interactive activities. Individuals will explore the sights, colors, and traditions of the season while enjoying opportunities for creativity, socialization, and community participation.

Participants are invited to wear their favorite team colors, jerseys, or dress as their favorite athlete while engaging in sports-themed activities and friendly competitions. The event will encourage teamwork, physical activity, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles while creating a fun and energetic atmosphere.

The program will offer the opportunity to get creative and have fun with fashion. Participants are encouraged to wear mismatched clothing, silly hats, colorful accessories, fun patterns, or wacky socks to showcase their unique personalities. The day will include themed arts and crafts activities to promote self-expression and creativity.

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their spelling and literacy skills in a friendly and supportive competition. Individuals can challenge themselves, cheer on their peers, and celebrate learning while competing for prizes and recognition. This activity encourages educational growth, confidence building, and positive peer support.

Service recipients and staff will come together to celebrate the accomplishments, growth, and achievements of the program throughout the year. An awards ceremony will recognize individual successes, participation, personal milestones, and contributions to the program community. This special event promotes self-esteem, recognition, and a sense of belonging.

Participants will visit Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm to experience seasonal fall activities in a beautiful outdoor setting. Individuals may enjoy apple picking, exploring the farm, viewing seasonal displays, and participating in other harvest-themed activities. This outing encourages community participation, sensory exploration, and appreciation of nature.

Participants will enjoy a community dining experience at Dallas BBQ where they can share a meal with friends and practice community-based social skills. This outing promotes independence, relationship building, choice-making, and community inclusion.

Participants will celebrate the rich history, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino cultures through engaging educational and cultural activities. Individuals will have the opportunity to explore music, art, food, and traditions while participating in hands-on creative projects. The celebration will also include a catered lunch and dance party, encouraging cultural appreciation, social engagement, and community inclusion.

The program will host a lively karaoke event to provide the individuals with the opportunity to sing their favorite songs, showcase their talents, and cheer on their peers. They will also enjoy a catered lunch and additional games and interactive activities to encourage socialization and self-expression.

Staff will escort the weekend program participants to Dave & Buster's for an exciting day of arcade games, friendly competition, and entertainment. Individuals can challenge their peers, collect tickets, and earn prizes while building social skills and confidence through recreational activities.

In recognition of the day of remembrance, participants will enjoy a peaceful painting activity. Individuals will express themselves creatively while enjoying special refreshments in a supportive environment that promotes relaxation, mindfulness, and positive social connections.

To celebrate Labor Day and the end of the summer season, participants will enjoy party featuring delicious food, music, games, and social activities. The event will provide opportunities for individuals to connect with peers and celebrate their accomplishments throughout the summer while enjoying a festive and supportive atmosphere.

Participants will enjoy a special trip to Häagen-Dazs where they can select and enjoy their favorite ice cream flavors and treats.  This outing promotes community integration, choice-making, and social interaction. Dietary considerations and accommodations will be provided.

The Supplemental program will also have the opportunity to participate in viewing a movie of their choice. Participants will enjoy a movie theater experience complete with a featured film and special snacks.

The program will host a movie showing to create the atmosphere of a private theater. Participants will have the opportunity to select a movie to enjoy with concession style snacks.

Join us as we celebrate the end of summer with a Beach Bash Event! Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite summer attire and enjoy a day filled with beach-themed fun. The event will feature specialty drinks, a catered lunch, themed snacks, interactive games, arts and crafts projects, music, and recreational activities designed to promote socialization and engagement.

The weekend program will enjoy an educational visit to the New York Aquarium, where they will explore fascinating marine exhibits and learn about aquatic wildlife. This community-based outing promotes learning, curiosity, sensory exploration, and social engagement.

Participants will close out the summer with a creative and relaxing End of Summer Paint & Sip Party. Guided painting activities will allow individuals to express themselves artistically while enjoying seasonal refreshments and socializing with peers. This event promotes creativity, self-expression and relaxation.

Staff will escort program participants to Turtle Cove Mini Golf, where they will navigate miniature golf courses alongside their peers. This community outing promotes socialization, teamwork, sportsmanship, and hand-eye coordination while encouraging participants to remain active and engaged.

The groups will visit Flaming Grill Chinese Buffet for a community dining experience that promotes independence and choice-making. Individuals will have the opportunity to explore a variety of food options, serve themselves with staff support as needed, and practice social dining skills with peers.

The program will host an Ice Cream Social for service recepients to create their own personalized ice cream sundaes by choosing from a variety of flavors, toppings, and sweet treats. This event encourages social interaction while providing a fun summer experience. Special dietary accommodations and allergy-friendly options will be available to ensure all participants can safely enjoy the celebration.
