Groups will learn about the topic: How are holidays celebrated around the world? Peppermint hot cocoa will be provided.
Pajama Day
Holiday Movies with popcorn . Individuals are encouraged to wear their favorite holiday pajamas
Holiday Perfornamnce
The Drama Team will perform their original play: The Elf's Redemption. A Christmas party will take place afterwards. We are encouraging everyone to wear red and/or green.
Christmas Party
The weekend program will have the opportunity to participate in their own Christmas party, complete with refreshments.
Gift Making
Staff will provide arts and crafts activities for the individuals to make last minute holiday gifts.
Christmas Eve - ALL PROGRAMS OPEN
The program will host a holiday Talent Show - Christmas Karaoke edition. Individuals will have the opportunity to sing their favorite holiday songs. Special holiday treats will be served.
Snow Ball: Holiday Formal
Individuals will attend formal event to celebrate the holiday season. Formal Attire is encouraged.
Field Trip: Cross County Movies
Staff will escort the weekend program to the movie theater to view a film of their choosing.
NYE Party - ALL PROGRAMS OPEN
The program will host a New Years Eve party to celebrate the start of the New Year.
Field Trip: Dave and Busters
Staff will escort the weekend program to Dave and Busters to play their choice of arcade games.
Gingerbread Day
The program will host a gingerbread house making competition for each group.
Field Trip: Cross County Mall
Staff will escort the weekend program to Cross County Mall for shopping at the Holiday pop up event
Holiday Health Workshop
Gateway will be hosting a holiday health initiative. This day will include Wellness and self care activities.
Friendsgiving Celebration
Friendsgiving Party with a catered lunch for the weekend groups
Field Trip: Cross County Mall
Cross County Mall for opportunities to shop. They will receive a special treat from Cinnabon.
